Raon Training is not a gym. It is one of the most comprehensive and adaptable training systems you will find—ranging from detailed health coaching that includes circadian rhythm optimization, personalized nutritional strategies with an emphasis on gut health, the psychology of eating and overall systemic resiliency, to nuanced training sessions designed to keep someone not only improving key biomarkers of fitness, but to offer a renewed outlook on what training does for our psychology, our overall vitality and how to stay inspired to keep on pushing forwards.


What we teach—

  • These aren’t your generic fitness classes. These are sessions expertly crafted through the lens’ of both physiology and psychology. We use lifting not only to improve strength, lean tissue development, power and athleticism but also to develop certain psychological attributes associated with overall resiliency and presence.

  • Along with strength and conditioning, we provide detailed training to improve connective tissue architecture, to develop strength in joint-end ranges of motion, to help prevent injury and improve overall movement mechanics and adaptability.

  • Most gyms offer a hyper-ice massage, foam rollers and tell you to sleep 8 hours. Raon actually offers recover tactics that work—from supplemental protocols to detailed lifestyle interventions (cold exposure, meditation, breath work) and nuanced nutritional strategies. This goes beyond generic recovery advice.

  • Training and recovery are only parts of the equation. At Raon we put an emphasis on what the nervous system is adapting to, or away from, and how we can aid clients in “balancing” out this equation. Breath-work and meditative practices have been a part of our curriculum for years and it remains one of the most important aspects of our teaching.

At Raon, we don’t believe in copy-paste programming. Our training system is built to meet you where you’re at on any given day. Some days you need to push hard, some days you need to recalibrate, and some days you just need to feel like yourself again. We design around that.

Our principles are simple:

  • Keep it engaging. Training is not about sets and reps, We believe training can change our psychology, our behaviors and our state. Our coaching is built around getting more out of training than mere exercise. We want to train the most important muscle—the one inside of the skull.

  • Build what lasts. We’re not chasing sweat or calorie counts—we’re building strength, endurance, and resilience that actually hold up in life. It doesn’t stop with fitness training. Every client gets detailed health coaching through simple diagnostics that is then nurtured as a part of the coaching process.

  • Results you can feel. More focus. More confidence. More capacity. It’s not just about how you look, but how you move through your day, how you handle stress, how you deal with adversity and challenge. This is fitness with a heartbeat—beyond optimal exercise selection and influencer routines.

    Our Backbone. Group training focused on developing multiple attributes for GPP (general physical preparedness). A highly curated, carefully selected mixture of high intensity + functional movements to bolster and improve cardiovascular fitness, movement competency and overall physical prowess.

  • Baseline

    Our flagship strength and hypertrophy programming. Progressive and sustainable, varied strength and conditioning meant to improve squat, bench and deadlift along with building muscle tissue, connective tissue resilience, improving range of motion and develop end-range familiarity and strength. The gateway towards heightened physical presence, awareness and overall athleticism.

  • Baseline +

    Baseline + is our flagship strength and conditioning program plus a plethora of athletic movements to build athleticism; you will develop high levels of athletic ability through a variety of plyometric, jumping, hopping and power-related drills. For those that want to feel and perform like a freak, this is for you.

  • Baseline Ease

    Ease is our on-ramp, or beginner programming, but it is for all levels of fitness and extremely useful for a wide-group of people. Variations of compound movements that are meant to lessen axial skeletal loading and improve movement variability while building foundational strength and muscle tissue. It is a great way to start your strength training journey without the burden of digging yourself into the ground every session.

Raon training principles

  • gyms sell you quick fixes and magic pills in the form of “specialized” 8 week programs and 6 week bootcamps. What they lack is the ability to attain small, incremental improvements in various aspects of fitness across a broader range of time. this is what we specialize in.

  • Training should wake you up, make you feel alive, not put you on autopilot. The same intensity all of the time (i.e. spin classes, pilates, yoga) is missing novelty and variability. Our programming is tailor-made for high levels of engagement, problem solving and flow state. We’re here to build you up over time, not drag you down.

  • Fitness is filled with “optimized” routines and evidence-based science. This often leaves us feeling distraught and paralyzed. At Raon, we program for how you feel and what you need for today—we don’t rely on abstract spreadsheets and whimsical percentages. We teach you, through training, to develop a working relationship with your body, and your psychology.

  • Our sessions aren’t just workouts filled with words and numbers. They are gateways towards particular internal states, towards specific psychological states that we want to inhabit, hone and improve over time.
